Mind the gap. 06 May 2004 The obituary for Mrs. Tremblay, our electronic language centre assistant lady, was in the paper today and it was quite sad to read... she was such a nice woman. She always had a bowl of candy that J and I would eat when we stayed after school and helped out in the language lab. :- It's so upsetting when somebody from school dies since the principal will ask for a moment of silence on the announcements in the morning, and it's completely silent throughout the whole school... and that NEVER happens. But what can you do...*sigh* Tomorrow I don't have to go into school until 11:00 because I have the EuroHistory AP test at 11:30... I've finished the study book and now I'm hitting Sparknotes.com since they have these great summaries, timelines, lists of vocab words, and tests that are nice for extra study. I'm not doing too badly on the practise multiple choice portions of the tests, so that's okay... I'm just worried that the essays will deal with time periods I'm not too strong on. But since you get to choose 2 out of 6 options for the essays, I should be able to find some that I know reasonably well. And since I have good writing skills, I can BS it if I need to while making it seem like I'm not. Hah. As for the DBQ, well, general knowledge of the topic is useful, but all the documents are provided right there, so that should be okay. I'm sure I'll do fine... I hope... |
