Guess what?! I met my first Seeeester yesterday! *squee*

Lorelai was in town for Warwick's annual Gaspee Day Parade/Festival, since she's with a group that dresses up and marches in the parade. So last night I went to the Harnedys' Gaspee fireworks party, but I skipped out and went down to the boathouse where Lorelai's group was setting up their tents all over the lawn. It was really cool; they had a lovely spacious tent and everything. At first, I had no clue where she was. I kind of walked around with my dad aimlessly for a few minutes. Then I finally called her cell. She answered and asked where I was and what I was wearing. Then my dad pointed to a girl on a cell phone not 25 yards away, and I waved and walked over to her... yay! Lore is really cute and funny and sweet. We stood around talking for maybe an hour and a half, but when the fireworks started I went back to the party thing.

The next day (today) was the actual parade, and we went to my cousin Tommy's house (right on the parade route) like we do every year for his Gaspee Days cookout. I saw Lore walking with her group in lovely garb and I waved... once the parade was over, J and I ate some taco salad and stuff and then we decided to walk down the Parkway to the encampment to see Lore again. Well, rather, I told J to follow me and started on the 20 minute walk with her clueless as to where we were going... haha.

Once we got there, I had another problem finding her again since the fife and drum group was performing and there were bunches of people around watching. Finally I spotted Lorelai's mum (the midwife of the group) around their tent so I went over and asked where Lore was. She pointed me in the right direction and voila! Instant Sister.

Hehe. J took some pictures of us together and we hung out for a while until we had to leave since J had to work. ^_^

So that was my first Sister experience... she gave me a lovely card, pendant, and bracelet, and I'm going to make her a collage once I get the pictures developed (although that won't be 'til after I get back from Europe since they're the first pics on a new roll).

FUNFUNFUN.

I <3 my iPod, by the way.
