I've downloaded most of their [Evanescence's] songs but I was reluctant to burn a CD because of my Moral and Ethical Philoshopy on the CD Burning Vs. CD Buying - MaEPotCDBVCDB. See, if I really like a song, I'll download more music by the artist to see if I like it. If I like the artist enough so that I would by his/her/their CD, then that's what I do. However, if I wouldn't actually spend the money on a CD, I'll burn one- probably with songs by other artists on it as well. *shrugs* Stupid, I know, and still rather iffy as I'm burning CD's, but if I really like it, I will buy it.

That theory is still in effect a year later, although instead of burning CD's with my illegally downloaded songs, I upload them to my beloved (yet still nameless) iPod instead. Tonight I bought the Franz Ferdinand CD, since I've been downloading and really liking their music lately... I figured I might as well do something legal for once.

I really would use the iTunes music store if I had a credit card.

I don't.

I didn't mean to write about my MaEPotCDBVCDB this entry, but as I was reading through what I was writing this time last year, I had to copy and paste it... the thing is, I kind of miss Diaryland. It was my first public online diary since nobody knew of my old ones, and I miss the way I used to write in it. With Livejournal, I don't mind posting a bunch of short entries in one day, but with Diaryland I always want to post only one or maybe two large entries a day, and I think I was just getting lazy and not wanting to do it. Plus LJ has iconsessss... but no. I resolve to seriously come back to D-land, since I miss it. I WILL update daily again, in my old style!
