mind the gap

Mind the gap.

17 July 2004

So uhm... today was boring. I kind of sat around in my swimsuit all day, reading and waiting and not really doing anything. Then mum was going to get Del's so I jumped in the car with her because I was so bored... Del's and Reese's really help though. With what, I don't know.

I kind of feel bad because I think Tamara gets kind of bored a lot... I mean, we don't really DO a lot besides the day trips/excursions we take a few times a week. Like, we went to see the Tall Ships yesterday, which took all day and was fun, but then today we just sat around reading and eating and crap. But since the point is to experience American homelife... you don't get much more real than that.

This week will be good though. We're going to the beach on Wednesday, the drive-in one night, Boston and a Red Sox game on Thursday (yayness!), and we're having a cookout on Saturday (I am supposed to be making invitations on Photoshop to email to people... eergh).

Well. I've been having really odd dreams lately... one of last night's dreams involved being trapped with the "Canadian Youth Group", which was actually an organization of evil children under the power of a witch in my neighborhood. Seriously.

Oh. Today I got my AP scores back... as expected, I got an evil 2 in Chem... but since I pretty much knew from a start the whole thing was doomed, it's okay. BUT. I got a 5 in European History... amazing. That's the highest score you can get, and I honestly didn't think my essays were that good... DBQ and multiple choice, maybe, but not the essays. Ah well, I guess they were okay. Heh.

Um. Going to go see what's on the telly... we're going to see Spiderman 2 later tonight, so that'll be good.
