Mind the gap.

02 May 2004

So.

Mum went off to Maine with Gramma and Aunt Nancy on Friday morning for my cousin MJ's post-birth babyshower (hah).

Dad, Ian, Ian's friend Dan, and Rhiannon went off to Pennsylvania early Friday morning for the annual Valley Forge miniatures / collectors show.

I was home alone until Saturday afternoon.

So how did I spend my Friday night?

Studying for the SATs, of course.

Not that I regret it, because I don't mind studying and what else would I have done anyway? I think it helped, since I was able to get through the real SATs today without having time management issues and without getting flustered over anything (e.g., one of the maths sections). I think I did pretty well, so that's good.

When Mum got back from Maine in the afternoon, she worked outside in the yard, I napped, and then we went out to dinner at Lemongrass... I had Vegetable Thai Pan... v. good... then to Gramma's so Mum could spend 2+ hours with Auntie Nancy putting up new blinds/curtain rods/curtains in the newly decorated bathroom. Once we left we went to Dearheart's for ice cream (chocolate peanut butter cup all the way, baby) and then home to watch this movie about "Portuguese people in New Bedford" that my VERY Portuguese 'n Proud grandmother from New Bedford had rented... hehe. It was nothing more than a classic little romance, but it was cute... and it was hilarious because Jason Isaacs was the lead guy, and when my mum found out that it was Lucius Malfoy playing this stick-at-naught, penniless gambler, she started laughing and didn't stop for five minutes.

Heh.

:- I gave myself today off from studying for the AP tests, but that means tomorrow I have to catch up on my reading and to my regular homework... bleh. Homework should be banned during the weeks of AP tests.

Plus I need to write a few letters... *sigh*. Time, time, time.

Good night.
